How the Keep Forever Feature Works
One File, Everything Inside
When you click "Keep Forever", we package the entire card into a single HTML file. All photos are converted to base64 and embedded directly inside. The animations, your message, the design — everything is contained in that one file.
No Internet Required
Once downloaded, the file works completely offline. Double-click to open it in any web browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. No connection to our servers or anywhere else needed.

How does the offline download work?
When you click "Keep Forever", the entire card downloads as a single HTML file. This file contains all photos, animations, and your message embedded inside. Open it anytime with any web browser — no internet needed.
Will the downloaded card still work in 10 years?
Yes! The HTML file uses standard web technologies that every browser supports. As long as computers have web browsers, your card will work. We designed it for permanent preservation.
What about the photo quality in the download?
All photos are embedded at their original uploaded resolution. When you open the offline card, you can still download individual photos at full quality for printing.
How big is the downloaded file?
File size depends on your photos. A typical card with 2-3 photos is 5-15MB. Cards with more or larger photos will be bigger. The file includes everything needed to display the card.
Can I share the downloaded file with others?
Absolutely! Send the HTML file via email, save it to a USB drive, or store it in cloud backup. Anyone who receives it can open it in their browser.
Do I need premium for the offline download?
No! The "Keep Forever" download feature is available to all recipients, free and premium. Anyone who receives a card can download it for permanent keeping.
Is there a limit on how many times a card can be downloaded?
To ensure cards remain available for their intended recipients, there are download limits. Free cards allow 100 total downloads, Premium cards allow 500. Once downloaded, recipients can keep and view their copy forever offline.
