Firebase Authentication Session cookies that keep you logged in and maintain your authentication state

Security tokens Cookies that help protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks

Functional Storage (localStorage)

We use your browser's localStorage to enhance your experience:

Viewing history Remembers which cards you've already viewed so we don't repeat the opening animation

Cookie consent Remembers that you've acknowledged this policy

Install reminder Remembers that you dismissed the prompt to install the app, so it stays hidden for 30 days

Performance Storage (IndexedDB)

We use IndexedDB for performance optimization:

Image caching Temporarily stores photos you've downloaded for faster offline access

Shared photos (Cache Storage)

Only if you install the app on Android and share photos into eCards from your gallery:

Photo hand-off Photos you share are held briefly on your device so they can be passed to the card editor, and are deleted as soon as they load. They are not uploaded to any server at this step.

📊 Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our Service: pages visited, session duration, scrolling and clicks, and general device information. Clarity may also record anonymized session replays and heatmaps; text you type and form fields are masked.

_ga Distinguishes unique users. Expires after 2 years.

_ga_* Maintains session state. Expires after 2 years.

_clck Microsoft Clarity: persists the Clarity user ID and preferences. Expires after 1 year.

_clsk Microsoft Clarity: connects the page views of one visit into a single session. Expires after 1 day.

Google Analytics data is used solely to improve our Service. We have IP anonymization enabled and do not use Google Analytics for advertising purposes. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

📣 Advertising Measurement Cookies

We run ads on Facebook and Instagram. The Meta Pixel tells us whether a visit that started from one of those ads went on to a sign-up, a finished card, a checkout or a purchase, so we can stop paying for ads that do not work. It is not used to show you ads on our site.

_fbp Meta: identifies your browser across visits for ad measurement. Expires after 90 days.

_fbc Meta: stores the click ID of the ad you arrived through. Expires after 90 days.

Choosing Decline in our cookie banner stops the Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity from loading. You can also control how Meta uses this data in your Facebook ad preferences.

eCards Photos prioritizes your privacy. We do not use:
