Our family is spread across the country — some are military, some are in different countries entirely. When we got my son's school pictures digitally this year, we wanted to do what we've always done: send them to everyone who matters.
But every eCard service I tried let me down. They either compressed the photos to the point they looked terrible printed out, or buried the download behind so many steps that half my family gave up trying. All I wanted was something simple — send a real, full-quality photo inside a card. The way we used to do it with printed pictures tucked inside an envelope.
So I built eCards Photos. The idea was straightforward: a digital card that works the way a real one does. When my family opens it, the photos literally fall out — just like pulling printed pictures from an envelope. No compression, no hoops to jump through. My mom sends them straight to her home printer, right from the card, and they're on the fridge in five minutes.
