How to Add a Video Message

On the Photos step, find the Video Message option below the photo upload area.

Choose to record a video using your camera, or upload a video file (MP4, WebM, or QuickTime).

Maximum duration is 30 seconds and maximum file size is 20 MB.

After recording or uploading, preview your video.

Choose the video position:Opens first — plays before photos fall outFinale — plays after all photos appear

A thumbnail is automatically generated from your video.

Signature Cards

Signature Cards are special templates with animated video covers instead of static images. They're marked with a play icon on the template thumbnail.

When your recipient opens a Signature Card, they see a full-screen cinematic video animation before the card opens to reveal your message and photos inside.

Tip: Signature Cards and personal video messages are separate features. You can use a Signature Card template and also include your own video message for maximum impact.

Good lighting

Face a window or light source for the clearest video.

Horizontal or vertical

Both orientations work. Vertical looks great on mobile.

Best on Chrome or Safari

Video recording works best on mobile Chrome and Safari.

Upload existing video

Already have a video? Upload it instead of recording live.
